Mt. Baldy Part Deux: June 7th Edition

Some people want love, meaning, solid return on investments- I just want powder, every day until the moment I leave this planet (where I will undoubtedly be transported to a planet that gets constant white fluffy powder every night and blue bird days every day).

Setting: It’s a typical dry JUNE in Utah. The average temperature is 9,112.7 degrees Fahrenheit and even thinking about moving makes you fatigued and tired. But wait! A storm from the west approaches carrying with it dark thunderclouds and heavy precipitation. All day and all night it rains and when it begins to clear a snowy treasure is visible! Quick to the ski-mobile (which of course is a 1997 Ford Explorer)…

Ya, it’s really late at night and I don’t care how crazy that sounds.

Long Story Short (get it, like the L1P ski movie) the LCC (like the OC, but for Little Cottonwood Canyon and were not all materialistic douche-bags that complain about plastic surgery and what not) got 30″+ of fresh, beautiful snow in JUNE and we took full advantage.

The Base Camp Photo (Me, Jason and Sam)-

Skinning Ends Very Quickly-

Buried. Did I mention it was JUNE?

    The World’s Sketchiest Bootpack!

Time for Decent (this is the Baldy ridge-line, its just hard to tell from all the white fluffy stuff that kept burying me)-

My Turn!

Off to my White Room-

If your not jealous of this kinda snow in summer, you shouldn’t be reading my website-

P.S. There is a ton of other pictures on the way (Dog Lake, two Bobsled Runs, and John’s Trail from Park City), I am trying to spread out the stoke-
