Yesterday’s storm ends with a sad note. Alta has officially announced that they will be pushing back their opening day from this thursday pending snow conditions. Their website has yet to be updated, but that is to come soon I imagine. Snowbird hasn’t announced anything officially, but also told me they are waiting on snow and are unlikely to make this saturday’s scheduled opening.

“Our optimism for a November 15th opening hasn’t been supported by Mother Nature. Our first storm in 2 weeks gave us 5 inches of snow and cooler temperatures so we can now make snow at night. Pray for another storm or two. We’ll open as soon as conditions allow…”
