Ski Porn! The Best of the Best (so far)…

These are my three favorite trailers of the moment for the 06/07 collection of ski movies-

First, Push (last year’s MSP film) was awesome. Hands down my favorite ski flick ever made so I am most excited about…
Matchstick Productions – Seven Sunny Days

I liked Theory-3′s film last year, [Photo]Play, but it was a little to jibby for my taste. However PNW has an awesome collection of pillow shots and big hucks so I am pretty amped about this one.
Theory-3 – PNW (Pacific Northwest)

I liked Anomaly (last year’s TGR movie), but didn’t love it, and I didn’t like the 04/05 season movie, Tangerine Dream, all that much, but TGR assured me that this year would have a full legit Seth Morrison segment and that easily puts it on my most anticipated list…I just wish they’d make a normal trailer (or just let Nobis and Micah Black do it :-p)…
Teton Gravity Research – Lost and Found

On a happy note, assuming we get a damn good season and Brighton opens as early as it did last year, there are only 89 days, 14 hours, 46 minutes, and 43 seconds from the time of this post (thank you OSX Countdown Widget) until the first lift-served skiing opens in SLC!

Pep’s revert 90 -to- 270

Wow…just wow…Pep Fujas defied the laws of physics.

The quality is a bit grainy, so I’ll explain. This is a revert 90 -to- 270. Pep took off switch spun a natural 90 degree spin. STOPPED THE ROTATION IN MID-AIR, and then spun 270 degrees in the opposite direction (unnatural). This is not humanly possible, thus Pep Fujas is either God or a divine prophet of God.

Ski Break!

Just finished my finals and it is time for a nice week and half ski break…before more tests. In honor of this happy moment in my life, I have decided to post the only thing remotely close to partying I’ve done since I’ve been here…Ski Barbecue!

From April 22 (Alta closing day).
