Finals and moving made it pretty difficult to ski a bunch recently, but I’ve officially tagged my ski count from last season.

For the past couple weeks I’ve been trying to ski the pipeline couloir off Twin Peaks, but kept getting shut down by Snowbird Ski Patrol at the last second. After hiking Twins twice this weekend and not being allowed to ski Pipeline I did the only thing any reasonable person would do and decided to wait until next season for a shot at it hiked the 3,000+ vertical feet from Snowbird’s base during the week when they were shut down and patrol guidelines were no longer in effect.

There is more pictures and video but I’m too delirious and tired right now to upload them.

Center Chute wetslide, this definitely spooked Carston and I out on the hike up.

Oh Ullr, the snow is so mushy…Please remedy this immediately!

Ugh. I’ve only been skiing a few times in the last couple weeks. Apparently just because you may go on ski trips during spring semester doesn’t mean your class sits around playing Mahjong while you’re gone. I found that out the hard way :-|

That was not the landing dreams are made of…

The 100 day barrier has been broken! and I haven’t been updating this page nearly as much as I’ve wanted to, so to commemorate my 100th day I’m starting a new series on my site called, “The B-Roll.” It’s going to contain footage from my helmet cam that I don’t think will make an actual HelmetCast…

…I’m going to upload some footage later tonight and see how it goes. I’m kinda making this whole website thing up as I go so we’ll see what happens…
