Alta 9/21

I would say september is my least active month since I’ve moved to Utah (and for a long time before that, for that matter). It really bums me out. I’m going to revamp that through october and try to get as many days in the mountains as possible.

Here are some pictures from my ride around Alta last friday-

The aspen trees are beginning to change colors

These deep blue skies would look so much better with fresh powder

The barren steeps of Alta

Snowbird 8/15

These are picture I took during the 3000+ vertical foot climb I did riding my bike from the base of Snowbird’s tram to the top of hidden peak-

They are a little dark because the sun started dropping as I went up-

Desolation Lake 6/30

This is my trip report from a ride up Desolation Lake about a month ago…It’s all I can do from going insane under the amount of homework I have-

Alta 7/21

Thought I’d post some pictures of a giant moose and the nerdiest thing I’ve done with my mountain bike :-p

You have nothing to fear, but fear itself…that and being trampled.

Pretty Stream

Cecret Lake (Ya, that’s how it’s spelled)

It looks so sad without snow :-/

The clouds looked a lot cooler in person

Top of the hill…ya, that is a copy of Harry Potter…gotta problem?

It was fun…until I remembered both computer science projects I have to finish, the two essays I have to write, and the two finals I am extremely under-prepared for…all next week :-S

Also, I finished the book earlier today (759pg in <48hrs, not to bad if I say so myself), and I strongly urge anyone who has never read them and is not of afraid of having no social life to start from the first on and read them through, they’re quite good.
