09/10 Ski Update 5

First, someone suggested I add music to this site to make it more entertaining and because I’m pandering to my crowd for votes, I figured I’d give it a shot…

Second, a reminder in case you missed my last entry (you can vote once a day):

**(KEEP) VOTING FOR ME**

Send me to the Olympics in February on Microsoft’s dime by voting for me on this site: https://www.officewintergames.com/contestants.aspx
It falls between two competitions I want to do this season, will probably screw up my Computer Science classes and make me reconsider my hopes and dreams, but who cares. I can run up a $1,500 pay-per-view movie tab on Microsoft’s bill. That should make us even for Vista…

(I’m Jake from the University of Utah if you haven’t figured that out yet…)
So Vote (you can vote once a day) for me and help me take a rad trip.
Thanks!

…Now back to the regularly scheduled dribble that I post here

Ski Days This Season: 11

Collin’s Valley, Little Cottonwood Canyon, UT: 8
Wilbere Ridge, Little Cottonwood Canyon, UT: 1
Snowbird, Little Cottonwood Canyon, UT: 2

So far I’ve pulled two days on Snowbird’s ice carpet down Gad Valley. It’s totally awesome. 40 Big Emma laps later and Nik and I now know every zone on that run you can try a 180.

Ya…UT needs some snow.

Here’s some photos from the last time snow hit me in the face…

09/10 Ski Update 1

Ski Days This Season: 1

Collin’s Valley, Little Cottonwood Canyon, UT: 1

This was pretty inevitable, a hair dusting of snow in October and easily some of the sketchiest turns I’ll make all season. Totally worth it.

I’m Stoked.

Goin’ for it.

Nik hiking for more.

Moon Rising.

Oh Ullr, you should make this the best break ever.
